SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — April 19, 2018 — Scalar, a leading independent valuation firm, is proud to announce the recent hire of Jen Davidson as Principal. A seasoned industry expert with over 15 years of experience valuing businesses across various industries, Davidson is well-suited to help lead Scalar’s new Los Angeles office.

Over her career, Davidson has managed and participated in hundreds of valuation engagements for financial and tax reporting (including gift and estate), litigation support, collateralization, restructuring, mergers and acquisition (due diligence), and strategic planning purposes.
At Scalar, Davidson will be responsible for overseeing valuation and transaction advisory engagements, including due diligence and management interviews, financial modeling, and report creation and review.
Prior to joining Scalar in 2018, Davidson was a Manager in the valuation practice of RSM US LLP. Earlier in her career, she was employed by other Big Four accounting firms and valuation consulting firms including Arthur Andersen, Deloitte, Houlihan Lokey, KPMG LLP, Mesirow Financial, and Navigant Consulting, Inc. Davidson is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) and also holds the Certified in Entity and Intangibles Valuation™ (CEIV™) credential issued by the American Society of Appraisers.
